Civ. App. No. P023 of 2020- The Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago v Vijay Maharaj (substituted on behalf of the Estate of Satnarayan Maharaj) and Central Broadcasting Limited- Sedition

The Court of Appeal held that sections 3 and 4 of the Sedition Act, which came into effect in 1920, were saved law and therefore constitutional, which can only be changed by Parliament.
